Cable Fire Testing Machine

  • Description

    This testing device is used to test the acidity of gases released during the combustion of cable or fiber optic cable components. The device is designed and manufactured according to IEC 60754 Part 1 and 2 standards. The cable material is processed in a tube-type furnace, and during combustion, the pH value and conductivity of the released gases are measured to determine the acidity, halogen acid gas concentration, pH, and conductivity of the material.

    6. Electrical conductivity measurement range: 0.01 µS/mm ~ 100 µS/mm.
    7. Intelligent tube furnace temperature control with electronic temperature control system.
    8. Equipped with two gas collection bottles.
    9. Sample chamber volume: 1 liter.
    10. Equipped with a pH and conductivity detector, with an electronic display and electrode.
    11. Air flow meter with fire-resistant pipe containing silicon dioxide.
    12. Activated carbon (air filter): filters air.
    13. Silicone is used to dry the air source.
    14. Pyrex tube: enables easy sample insertion and protects the tube.
    15. Combustion boat moves automatically for smarter testing.
    16. Mode switching (IEC 60754-1 and IEC 60754-2 test methods).
    17. Overheating protection with temperature alarm system.
    18. Timer for IEC 60754-1 or IEC 60754-2 time measurements.
    19. Drawer for storing components (e.g., conductivity meter, pH meter).
    20. Temperature indicator for core furnace temperature.
    21. Permanent magnetic stirrer to stir gases in distilled water.
    22. Conductivity meter to measure combustion gas conductivity.
